This notice explains how GadgetFPV handles personal information associated with this website, software licensing and customer support.

1. Information we may process

Depending on how you use our services, we may process your name, email address, licence and activation records, transaction reference, product/version information, and information you provide when requesting support.

2. Payments

Payments are processed through Paddle. GadgetFPV does not need to receive or store your full payment-card details. Paddle may process payment, billing, tax and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms.

3. Licensing and fulfilment

We use customer and transaction information to create and deliver software licences, validate activations, support permitted device transfers, prevent abuse and provide licensing support. Licence fulfilment emails are delivered using our email service provider.

4. Why we use information

We process information where necessary to provide products and services you request, administer licences and purchases, provide support, protect our services against misuse, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate operational and security interests where applicable.

5. Sharing

Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the service, such as payment, hosting/database and transactional-email providers. We do not sell customer personal information.

6. Retention

We retain records only for as long as reasonably necessary for licensing, customer support, security, accounting, tax and legal purposes. Different categories of records may therefore be kept for different periods.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or licensing purposes.
